On Monday I attended my first Foodiechats event at Union Sushi + Barbeque Bar. Foodiechats is a twitter community that comes together every Monday at 8 pm EST to talk all things foodie. By using the hashtag #Foodiechats you answer a string of questions about cooking, dining, and drinking and share ideas with other fellow foodie lovers.

I sat with the girls behind Now You Know Events and we sampled sushi, drank exotic drinks and tweeted answers to the #Foodiechats questions. I was so impressed with the food and can’t wait to go back for dinner sometime. The drinks were fabulous too! If the drink you order doesn’t come with a hibiscus flower, ask for one, they are like candy!!

I also got a chance to meet the ultimate Chicagonistas, Cece and Melinda, sweetest girls ever!
